● H2S removal from oil and gas well produced fluids — continuous injection via annulus or wellhead
● Natural gas gathering and transportation pipeline — dosed at gas gathering stations to meet H2S specifications
● Refinery pre-desulfurization — applied upstream of amine units to reduce loading
● Storage tanks and vessels — vapor-phase H2S scavenging in crude oil tank headspace
Dosing Guidelines
Continuous injection is the recommended dosing method: install a chemical injection valve and plunger pump at the wellhead or pipeline to uniformly inject the scavenger into the produced fluid. Batch dosing (pouring through the casing) is suitable for intermittent operations but provides less uniform reaction.
